Solanco receives mask donations

Lancaster Mask sewists_Solanco School District Social Worker Avery Hill said many in ourĀ  community have been busy in helping keep our students and teachers safe. “Solanco School District is so grateful for the generosity, compassion, and skill that local mask-makers have shared with our school community! Arlene Hastings has donated 150 hand-made cloth masks to our learners – she has made over 800 masks since the start of the covid-19 pandemic, sharing them with our schools, Solanco Food Bank, churches, and groups throughout our community.”
Hill also expressed her appreciation for the generous donations provided by Lancaster Mask Sewists, Southern Hope Foundation, and Daughters of the American Revolution.
