“Solanco students Marty Grawe and Noah Neff did an excellent job representing themselves, Solanco and our community at Democracy Day,” Michael Hammel said. “They worked side-by-side with other students from other school to discuss many of the same issues that our leaders in Harrisburg and Washington D.C. are working on, to find common resolutions in a civil manner.” Solanco grads and state representatives Ryan Aument and Bryan Cutler met with students to share their experiences from their high school careers at Solanco and currently during their legislative careers in Harrisburg. “Democracy Day was an invaluable experience for both Marty and Noah as they will be able to take what they learned at Democracy Day with them in life,” Hammel said.

Democracy Day was hosted by LNP/Lancaster Online and was held at Donegal High School.
