High honors for Brandon Daniel-Morales

Brandon Daniel-MoralesWEBSolanco High School senior Brandon Daniel-Morales has earned prestigious recognition for his remarkable academic achievements. The National Hispanic Recognition Program (NHRP) has honored Brandon as one of the top scholars in the United States. Out of the 400,000 students nationwide who take the PSAT, Brandon has scored among the top 1-percent of students taking the PSAT.

The National Hispanic Recognition Program recognizes approximately 5,000 Hispanic/Latino juniors each year from among the more than 400,000 juniors who take the PSAT. As with the National Merit Scholarship Program, NHRP uses the junior year PSAT/NMSQT as the qualifying test. To learn more, visit the NHRP website.

In addition, Brandon is a recipient of a distinguished Lenfest Scholarship. Lenfest is a $12,000 annual scholarship renewable for four years. Brandon is interested in attending Swarthmore College and plans to study either foreign language or comparative literature.
