Congratulations to the Solanco Class of 2019!

| June 11, 2019

Graduation1WEBSolanco High School seniors received their diplomas on Friday (June 7), at the Solanco High School football field as their parents, siblings, friends, neighbors and our supportive community looked on. Their high school careers finished, the graduates now prepare for the next step in their lives, whether it will be attending college, beginning their career in the workforce, or joining the U.S. military.

Graduation2WEBIn his speech to his fellow graduates, class valedictorian David Harvey urged them to get involved. “Don’t forget the effort that was poured into us by those around us. I would encourage you, classmates, to be willing to turn around and pour out just as much, or more, time and effort into those who would follow in our footsteps. No matter where you go and what community you settle in, I hope that you remember Solanco, and make this community proud by going and improving yours. Don’t just be an apathetic member, be the driving force behind the betterment you want to see.”

Class salutatorian Faith Rineer said, “Class of 2019, we truly have no limits – so go for it.  Chase after your dreams, face this next part of your life with strength and confidence. I know you can and will do great things.”
