High scores for students on National French exam

“Our students did great on the National French exam, Le Grand Concours, especially since this is the first year we participated,” Solanco High School French teacher Barbara Swinsburg said. “Nine students have won awards. Juliana Rhodes and Emity Gatano are level 1 silver medal winners for performing in the 90th and 85th national percentiles, respectively.”

Other high finishers include Triniti Erisman, Natan Petite and Abigail Kennedy with Level 1 honorable mentions in the 55th, 55th and 50th national percentiles, respectively.

Faith Redcay received a level 2 gold medal for performing in the 95th national percentile, and Mylee Smith won a level 2 silver medal in the 90th percentile.

Mariya Shulhina is a level 2 bronze medal winner in the 75th national percentile, and Elaina Kreider is a level 3 bronze medal recipient for performing in the 80th national percentile.
