“The kids had a blast and rally enjoyed it,” Solanco High School Library Media Specialist Emily Dawley said. “Our team name is Read It and Reap. The students had the entire school year to read from a pre-selected list of 45 books. The books were selected by a panel of librarians and teachers. The competition consisted of three rounds of 40 questions about these books.” Dawley said team member Cheyanne Cutler designed the team shirt, and independent study student Grace Kreider printed the shirts for the team.

Dawley said as soon as the next set of book lists is made available, a team will be formed for next year’s Reading Olympics.
