2020 Post Prom planning meeting on Tuesday (April 30)

| April 24, 2019

Parents of students who will be high school seniors in the upcoming 2019-2020 school year are invited to the first informational meeting about the 2020 Post Prom. The meeting will be Tuesday, April 30 at 6 p.m. in the Large Group Instruction (LGI) room at the high school. Parents who attend the meeting will learn about the 2020 Post Prom and how they can be involved.

The Post Prom is held each year, in the hours after the prom, at the high school. Parents of seniors determine a theme for the post prom and decorate the high school to match the theme. In addition, parents prepare a number of games and special activities for students to enjoy. The post prom is a safe, entertaining, drug- and alcohol-free event for students to participate in following the prom. A number of nice prizes are awarded to students at each prom.

The 2020 Post Prom is seeking weather-proof storage space where this year’s (2019) Post Prom materials can be stored until next year. The storage unit, tractor trailer or barn does not need to be climate controlled, and is needed by May 18. Anyone who may have storage space to donate to the 2020 Post Prom is asked to call Jodi Unger at (717) 951-5914.
