Providence - Coats for KidsWEBProvidence Elementary students, parents, staff and community members responded generously to the annual Coats for Kids drive. They collected dozens of winter clothing items, including 25 coats, 17 hats, 13 pairs of gloves and five scarves to be donated to local residents in need through Coats for Kids.

Student senators who provided leadership on the clothing drive include, front row (kneeling): Chase Plastino (4th grade), Chase Mendez
(4th) , Mason Good (5th), and Trigg Bersell (3rd).
Back row (standing): Chloe Jumbelick (3rd grade), teacher Lindsey Orr, Lexi Shaubach (5th) , Madison Wenger (5th), Nate Reese (4th).

“We live and work in such a giving community,” teacher Lindsey Orr said. “It was a good opportunity for our student senators to check, sort, count and package the coats, while understanding these items would benefit other children. I think it is a great experience of giving back.”
