Wrestlers earn hard-fought fifth place finish in Mule Classic

The Solanco wrestling team put in a strong performance in the 20th annual Mule Classic at Solanco High School. “The grappling Mules battled through a tough field and finished fifth out of 26 teams,” assistant coach Matt Jansen said. “The Mules also boasted medalists at weight classes 120, 132, 138, 160, 170, 195 and heavyweight, including four top-3 finishes and one champion.”

The Mules will be in action again on Wednesday (Dec. 13) at McCaskey and again on Friday 12/15 and Saturday 12/16 at the 31st Annual Penn Manor Holiday Wrestling Tournament at Penn Manor High School.
