Smith - Lock In checkWEBSmith¬†Middle School students have collected more than $9,500 for the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society – that’s the second highest amount among¬†schools throughout the central Pennsylvania region! The photo is from a check presentation ceremony at Smith and features Laura M. MacNeill (Executive Director of the Central PA Leukemia/Lymphoma Society), and student officers Trent McDowell, Madi Davis, (student senate advisor and teacher Carrie Falduts), Jada Dow, Ella Bailey, and Jade Eshleman.

Students generated money by planning, organizing and conducting an overnight lock-in at Smith on April 7-8. Students had to raise at least $25 to participate in the lock-in that featured a DJ and dancing, relay races, pie-in-the-face games, musical chairs, dodgeball, volleyball and other fun activities.
