Solanco students to benefit from our community’s generosity!

SEF - Baggie books - QuarryvilleWEBThe Solanco Education Foundation is deeply grateful for the generous support of Solanco students during the recent ExtraOrdinary Give.  More than $5,000 was donated to the Solanco Education Foundation by parents, alumni, staff and caring members of our community. The money raised during the ExtraGive will be used toward the Foundation’s support of student scholarships, teacher venture grants and special initiatives such as the recent purchase of kindergarten “Baggie Books” (photo) and support of the College Advising Corps position.

The “Giving Station” at The Daily Grind was once again a popular spot for supporters to make their donation and all on-line donors who visited The Daily Grind were entered into a raffle to win Solanco Spirit Apparel which was generously donated by various Solanco Sports Booster Clubs. If you were not able to support the Foundation during the ExtraGive, please consider making a year-end gift to the education foundation.  For more information, please visit the Solanco Education Foundation website, or phone Keith Kaufman at 717-786-5617.
