Students in panel discussion about student projects and competitions

High School - Gifted IU13ESOLJosh Kreider, Hannah Sobotka-Briner and Quintin Robinson with awards won in the Model UN and Odyssey of the Mind competitions.

Solanco¬† High School students in the Gifted Program will participate in an interesting activity at IU13 in Lancaster on Thursday, December 8. “IU13 will hold a gifted network meeting to discuss the impact that projects and competitions have on gifted learners,” Caley Roark, Solanco High School Teacher of the Gifted, said. “We have been invited to speak about the Gifted Applications class, and the contests that make up that course, which are the Model UN, Odyssey of the Mind, and Mock Trial.” Josh Kreider, Hannah Sobotka-Briner and Quintin Robinson will share their experiences with
Lancaster County school administrators and teachers.

IU13 says the meeting will allow gifted students to share their ideas, talents and passions with the IU13 Gifted Network. They will present before an audience of professionals and answer questions related to their work.
