FFA - World VisionESOLFFA student officers placed a jar in the FFA classroom to collect spare change from members. In three weeks, they raised $62 dollars, which was matched by FFA advisors, bringing the total to $155. FFA student officers decided to work through World Vision to use the money to purchase a goat and two chickens for a village in Africa, $300 worth of clothing for kids in the United States, and five fruit tree seedlings for the Caribbean area. In the photo, FFA students Bailey Conover and Casey Foose display the jar that received donations which are improving lives around the world.

Solanco FFA Advisor Kelly Lichtley said FFA students have also been working on several other important projects to support people impacted by natural disasters, and children in need to gifts and compassion during the holiday season.
