Solanco’s 2016-2017 budget

SEF - probeware 1WEBThe Solanco School Board has approved a final 55.7-million budget for the 2016-2017 school year. It contains a tax increase of 2.90-percent, which is the limit established by Act 1 for Solanco for the 2016-2017 school year. Homeowners will pay an additional $35.08 per $100,000 assessment. The average tax increase in the county will be $55.40.

Solanco’s millage rate will rise to 12.4499, from the current 12.0991 mills. The Solanco School District continues to have the lowest real estate tax rate among the 16 school districts in Lancaster County.
