| May 26, 2016

Brianna Maule, Diana Serrano and Haley Pittman have been awarded Portfolio Scholarships and Academic Merit Scholarships to attend Tyler School of Art at Temple University.

Brianna will major in painting, Diana will major in painting and art education, and Haley will major in sculpture. “Diana has additionally been honored with the Myrtle Tremblay Portfolio Scholarship awarded by the Lancaster County Art Association, which was open to all secondary and post-secondary students from Lancaster County who are majoring in the Visual Arts,” Solanco art teacher Candace Rakers said. “These young artists can be extremely proud of their accomplishments. They have worked non-stop in the studio during school hours, after school, weekends, and on holiday breaks to develop outstanding, conceptually and technically competitive portfolios. They are exceptionally deserving recipients of these highly-selective awards.”
