Auditions will be held for Renaissance Variety Show

High School - Mule WEBThere are many people in our community with unique and entertaining talents and skills, and they are invited to audition for the annual Solanco High School Renaissance Variety Show. Auditions will be held at the high school from 3 to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, April 6, 7 and 8.

Everyone who can sing and/or play an instrument, dance, juggle, or perform magic, is encouraged to audition; email Solanco High School teacher Leslie McRobbie. The Variety Show will be held on Friday, April 29 and proceeds will benefit the Renaissance program at the high school. Renaissance is a national program that has successfully improved school climate at the high school by providing incentives for students to improve their attendance, class participation, grades and their attitude toward school.

The popular Variety Show will feature a number of entertaining acts and performances. Past shows have featured lots of talented singers, instrumentalists, bands, dancers (solo, duo, and dance groups), student video projects and other entertainment.
