It’s been a colorful, interesting week at Smith Middle School where students have been creative in conveying a strong anti-drug message. They have dressed in eye-catching colors and themes, and there has been a strong emphasis on self-respect, ignoring and overcoming peer pressure, and helping friends say “no” to drugs. In this photo, students dressed in mis-matched clothes to show that “drugs are out of style” display anti-drug pledges signed by students.

In this photo is student Hailey Hindman with a very, very unique hairstyle and pants that practically require sunglasses to look at! Other dress themes for the week included “Twin Up Against Drugs”; be a twin for the day to show we are working together against drugs, and team jersey day for healthy living and “staying in the game.”
