Youngsters enjoy Halloween Hallways

| October 23, 2015

Solanco High School hallways last evening were jammed packed with little princesses, super heroes, ballerinas, cowboys and other Halloween favorites. About 800 youngsters in costume and their parents visited the high school to enjoy the incredibly-popular Halloween Hallways event put on each year by high school students.

One of the more popular attractions was this realistic “soda machine.” It looks like a soda machine, but it’s actually a costume with student┬áLiam Roark inside!

High school students decorated hallways and classrooms and provided youngsters with candy in a safe and festive environment.

In addition, the young children, their parents and the participating high school students also enjoyed the opportunity to see and learn about creatures of the night, courtesy of ZooAmerica, which brings nocturnal animals to Halloween Hallways for educational purposes.
Admission to this great evening was one canned food item per person, which will be donated to the Solanco Food Bank.
