Solanco students in Engineering Olympics

Solanco High School was well-represented at the Engineering Olympics held recently at Wilkes University.
The team of Liam Hodgson and Leeann Haywood finished first in the Logic Gate Challenge.

Ian Birdwell and Alexis Davis finished third in an electronic challenge, while Luke Kreider Ethan Smolik competed in the Boat Challenge, and Ben Fetterman and Cameron Buchheister were in the Jump the Shark Challenge.
As a team, Solanco finish a strong fourth among the 10 teams in the competition. “Please congratulate these students,” Solanco High School chemistry and physics teacher Irene Lefever said. “I received multiple compliments on their good manners, behavior and their aptitude.”
