Middle school students in science and engineering fair

Solanco middle school students put in strong performances in this week’s North Museum Science and Engineering Fair (NMSEF) at Franklin and Marshall College, highlighted by Reyse Taylor winning two 2nd place auxiliary awards.

Other Solanco students who participated in the fair are Gabi Dolan (Swift), Tim Fetterman (Swift), Jack Hertzler (Smith), Rachel Johnson (Swift), Brandon Daniel-Morales (Swift), Azra Mutapcic (Smith) and Clint Wilson (Swift).

“All eight of these students worked very hard on their projects,” Solanco Teacher of the Gifted Mike Hammel said. “The NMSEF is a highly-competitive event that has been operating since 1953 and consists of student participants from various schools
across Lancaster County.”
