| February 27, 2015

Quarryville - Great ChartESOL2Students in teacher Dan Hutchinson’s 4th grade class at Quarryville Elementary are showing great leadership in a challenge to improve behavior in the school cafeteria. The students have committed themselves to working together to improve not only their behavior, but the behavior of other students in the cafeteria as well. All classes have shown improvement, yet Hutchinson’s students, leading by example, have earned top reports from the cafeteria staff. In fact, since January 6, his students have earned 28 “excellent” reports in a row!

Hutchinson said better behavior in the cafeteria also provides academic and social improvements throughout the school, and he said he is proud of his students’ efforts to improve Quarryville Elementary School.
