A time of transition at Solanco

Dr. Robert DanglerWEBSolanco’s new assistant superintendent is Dr. Robert J. Dangler, who was previously Solanco’s Director of Pupil services. ”I have had the opportunity to watch our district grow and reinvent itself to improve the educational environment our students experience. I look forward to continuing these positive traditions, and working alongside you to ensure a learning atmosphere that pushes the edges of innovation and grows all students regardless of their circumstances and background.”

Dr. Dangler received his Superintendent Letter of Eligibility, Doctorate Degree in Educational Leadership, and a Masters Degree in special education from Widener University. He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Lebanon Valley College, and he graduated from high school in Frederick, MD.

 

Anthony Hall - eSol

 

Solanco’s new athletic director is Anthony Hall. He comes to Solanco after serving four years as athletic director at New Hope Academy in York, where he was also boys varsity basketball coach and dean of students. Previously, he was athletic director and boys basketball coach at Hanover High School. Hall earned a master’s degree at Springfield College in Massachusetts and a bachelor’s degree at SUNY Brockport.

When the Solanco Golden Mules football team hits the field this fall, they’ll be under the direction of new coach Anthony Cox. He has been coaching high school football for 15 years, most recently at Berkeley High School in Moncks Corner, South Carolina, where he has served as offensive coordinator. In 2008, Cox was a member of the Berkeley High School staff that earned All-Star Coaching Staff honors. Among the players Cox has coached are Arizona Cardinals running back Andre Ellington, and Baltimore Ravens defensive back Omar Brown.
Cox played college football at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, where he was a defensive back.
